It states the decimal place-value system (Gaṇita 2), defines squares, cubes and the extraction of roots, gives areas and volumes (including the triangle, Gaṇita 6) and an accurate value of π (Gaṇita 10, marked "approximate"), treats arithmetic and geometric progressions, similar triangles and shadows, and presents the KUṬṬAKA ("pulveriser") for solving equations in whole numbers.
